My King – SM Lockridge

From joekingthedork…

Dr. S.M. Lockridge preached a powerful message about Jesus. He went through all of the wonderful and awesome things that our Savior is. I put this touching sermon to music and pictures of God’s creation for a worship service that our college group led at Montavilla Baptist Church.

My King sermon beat

Steve over at hetgow has posted this video compilation of S.M. Lockridge with a background beat and a Gospel appeal at the end.

kindalikesorta & efrain

This one’s different in that the words are Lockridge’s but recited by somebody else; it has energy and emotion and being recorded live at a church gathering gives it a different (good differemt) feel:

A recitation of the proclamation “That’s My King!” written by the late S.M. Lockridge.

This clip was part of a large Resurrection play performance done at Life Christian Center in California on April 16, 2006. The camera was in the back of the church, and all the lights were off except for the platform, and thusly the video is pretty dark and grainy.

The speech called “That’s My King!” is written by the late S.M. Lockridge and is presented/recited in this video by efrain.

Selfless Empire

SelflessEmpire This is the 7 min version .S.M lockri…has produced a video with the 7 min version of S.M Lockridge’s My King sermon. This video is quite different from the others I’ve seen. Let me know what you think.

Its about raising up a generation. Who will look beyond themselves, and pass through the world with purpose. Leaving something behind for the upcoming generations to run with. Its about challenging people to think and discover that things are not always as they seem. That existence has purpose. That God is not religous, but that he is love, he is life and outside of him we all exist as dead. To say that God isnt love is to say that water isnt wet.

A recent poll was taken at Stanford University asking students What is the most important thing in your life. 8% were unsure, 16% said to make money, An Astounding 76% Said To Find Out Why They Were Here, And If They Have a Purpose. Selfless Empire is about Encouraging and Equiping This generation Young and Old, To discover what they were created for.

Embrace the Journey.

“The late S.M. Lockridge once present… “The late S.M. Lockridge once presented an incredible message, describing our God and who He is. Though God can’t be described with just words, this is as close as you can get this side of Heaven.”

Bj gave me this recording which he listened to live at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington Illinois. Why not add it to your MP3 player or better still use this audio for your own “movie”.
